AGV
Description
CAPACITY: 0 – 1000 TONS
MORELLO designs and manufactures automated guided carts (AGVs) customized to meet the specific needs of various industrial sectors. Our specialty lies in heavy-duty AGVs with capacities ranging from 2 to 1,000 tons.
We produce wheeled AGVs for material handling automation across a wide range of industries. These vehicles operate autonomously, without the need for an operator or physical guidance systems like rails.
KEY ADVANTAGES OF MORELLO’S HEAVY-DUTY AGVs:
- Lower operational costs
- Improved workplace safety
- Greater precision and productivity
- Reduced risk of damage to products and infrastructure
- Ability to function in hazardous or explosive environments
NAVIGATION TECHNOLOGY
MORELLO stands out among AGV manufacturers worldwide thanks to its wide range of advanced navigation technologies for automated material handling. The choice of technology (or combination of technologies) is made in close collaboration with the customer, taking into account their specific needs, technical requirements, and budget. Below are the navigation systems available for our heavy-duty AGV carts.
INDUCTIVE GUIDANCE
OPTICAL GUIDANCE
INERTIAL GUIDANCE
LASER GUIDANCE
MAGNETIC GUIDANCE
dGPS GUIDANCE
SOFTWARE
To deliver maximum customization and flexibility, MORELLO integrates both proprietary software developed in-house and industry-standard platforms from leading AGV software providers. This allows us to tailor every aspect of our heavy-duty AGVs, from cart geometry to navigation paths and automation logic, fully aligning with the customer’s production workflow. Our offerings include omnidirectional automated guided carts, systems that support multiple simultaneous navigation technologies, and AGVs designed to interface with various management systems, such as automated warehouses and integrated machinery. We also specialize in ATEX-certified AGV carts.
ATEX-certified AGVs for hazardous environments
MORELLO is among the first companies in the world to develop AGVs specifically for hazardous environments. Leveraging our in-depth expertise in ATEX applications, we design and manufacture AGVs compliant with ATEX Zone 2 regulations. These explosion-proof automated guided carts significantly increase safety by reducing operator exposure in high-risk areas, helping to minimize accidents and improve overall workplace safety.
